Deanna Hyser, RN, Home Health -
I’ve been a VNA employee since 2001. I started as an LPN doing private duty cases from Community Health Services. I went to school for my RN using the VNA’s tuition reimbursement program. Now I work as a full-time RN in home health and am currently orienting new employees.
Deb Leib, Home Health Aide -
I’ve been working for the VNA and Hospice for 20 years. I couldn’t have found a more rewarding job. I know my co-workers and I do our best in serving our community.
Audrey Shisler, Physical Therapist -
I can’t think of a better organization to work for where we all care about quality, compassion, and putting the patients’ care first.
I like to think of the VNA as a working bee hive – only instead of everyone putting the well-being of the queen bee first – we put the care of our patients first. Just like the bees, we each have our own jobs to fulfill with the same goal in mind.
I’ve been a PT for 28 years, doing acute care, rehab, and outpatient PR. When I came to the VNA to do home health I stopped looking and have been here for 16 years. What a challenging, but rewarding experience it has been!
Carol Wallen, ACSW/LSW – Director of Social Work -
I’ve worked at the VNA for 20 years as a social worker. I work primarily to provide care to hospice patients and their families, but work with home health and home care plus patients as well. I’m also the facilitator of the monthly bereavement support group.
The thing I like the best is that the agency has a long history in the area of working as a team to provide the best care to our patients. I’m proud to work for the VNA and to say that we are a non-profit agency.
