James Balthasar, Treasurer
James lives in Hanover with his wife, Wendy, and their two children. A principal with the accounting firm Rager, Lehman & Houck, he enjoys a variety of activities outside of his profession including golf, fishing, and various sporting events.

Christopher Beck
Chris lives in Spring Grove with his wife, Laura, and their four children. He is the owner of Irwin-Beck Funeral Home in Spring Grove and enjoys spending time with his family and coaching all of his children's sports teams.

Emily Berwager, Secretary
Emily lives in Hanover with her husband Andrew and two daughters. She is the Director of Human Resources for Snyder's of Hanover and is a member of the Hanover Area Human Resources Association and has served on the Advisory Board for the Adams County chapter of Big Brothers/Big Sisters.

Grace Elsner, Vice Chair
Grace lives in Hanover with her husband Rusty. She is an organizational development and training consultant, and enjoys gardening, reading and volunteering with a number of organizations.

Dean Garrett
Dean lives in Hanover with his wife Lori. They have three children. He works as a controller at Utz Quality Foods, where he has been employed for 30 years.

James Helt
Jim lives in Penn Township with his wife Lisa and their two daughters. He is employed by Adams County National Bank, is a member of the Hanover Rotary Club and a board member for both Sweet Charities and Adams Hanover Counseling Services.




Kay Jones
Kay lives in New Oxford with her husband Gene. She has two children, three stepchildren and six grandchildren. She is employed by Conewago Valley School District as Community Relations Coordinator and Webmaster.




Karen Mackley
Karen lives in Mechanicsburg with her husband Robert and their three dogs. They have two grown children. She works in Hanover as Managing Director at Columbia Cottage Assisted Living.





Rev. Larry McConnell, Chair
Larry lives in Spring Grove near his three children and six grandchildren. He is a retired Lutheran pastor and enjoys fishing, gardening, and traveling.





Ann Motter
Ann lives in Penn Township with her husband Perry. They have two grown daughters and four grandchildren. She has been employed at Homewood at Plum Creek for 25 years and is currently the Personal Care Administrator.

Edward J. "Steve" O'Donnell
Steve lives in Hanover with his wife Jacqueline and their two children. He is an attorney and has been a partner at Cashman & O’Donnell, P.C. since October 2006.

Penny Opalka
Penny lives in Gettysburg with her husband Joseph and son. She is employed by Snyder’s of Hanover as Manager of Benefits & Compensation. She enjoys traveling, movies, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. R. James Rinker
Dr. Rinker lives in Penn Township with his wife Ann. They have two grown children. A retired physician, he likes to read, work in the yard and golf.

Patricia Saunders
Pat is the Vice President of Patient Care Services at Hanover Hospital, where she has worked since 2006. She is the proud mother of five children and grandmother to seven grandchildren.

Dwain Smith, Assistant Treasurer
Dwain lives in Hanover with his wife Susan. He is the owner of Smith & Co. CPAs. He is a member of the Hanover Lions Club and serves on the Finance Committee of Delone Catholic High School.
