The VNA of Hanover & Spring Grove provides home health care to people experiencing an acute illness, record hospitalization, surgery or accident. Our nurses, therapists, social workers and home health aides provide a range of services including:
Nursing Care
RN's and LPN's, in collaboration with physicians provide direct care and patient education for many needs including: IV Therapy, ostomy care, nutrition, wound management, life health and high tech nursing.
Medication Management
RN's and LPN's instruct patient's and caregiver's in the correct use of their medications.
Rehabilitation Services
Based on an evaluation by the appropriate Rehabilitation Therapist - Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist - a plan of care including treatment of exercises is developed to meet that patient's needs.
Social Work Services
Social workers assist patients and families to access community services and help with financial and family issues associated with illness.
Home Health Aides
Personal care, comfort measures and light household duties are performed by trained Home Health Aides under the direct supervision of an RN.
Fees
VNA will bill Medicare insurance and other payers. If there is no source of payment, medically necessary services will be provided regardless of ability to pay.
