Michael Hockenberry
Mike has 35 years of healthcare experience from the clinical laboratory through progressive levels of leadership responsibility in Healthcare Administration. He is currently Vice President, Operations at UPMC Hanover.
Mike previously served as Interim President & CEO of Hanover Hospital from 2007 to 2008. Prior to joining UPMC, he held positions with Summit Health (Director Allied Services) and Holy Spirit Hospital (Supervisor and LIS Coordinator). Mike received his Master of Science in Healthcare Administration at the College of St. Francis in 1991. He received his Board of Registry Certification from Altoona Hospital and a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Chemistry from Lock Haven University in 1984. Mike has served on the Hanover YMCA Board and is currently on the Sweet Charities Board and is a member of the Hanover Rotary Club. He resides in Hanover with his wife MaryBeth. They have three grown sons: Matthew, Mark, and Ross.
